Psychics and The RI Paranormal Research Group

T.R.I.P.R.G. has a long-standing tradition of involving sensitives (a.k.a. Psychics) in the investigative process.   These gifted individuals provide the investigative team with insights and information that might not normally be available at that time.  These people’s extraordinary talents also provide the team with the ability to actually communicate with those involved in the haunting as the haunters, rather than just the hauntees.

We do not, however, take any one person’s word that they are sensitive to the spiritual realm.  T.R.I.P.R.G. has strict criteria, which we follow in determining if an individual truly has one of several psychic gifts.

In order to be recognized by T.R.I.P.R.G. as a sensitive, the following documented proof obtained within a controlled environment must be provided:

 1. The envisioned or otherwise mental reception of the name of a person that lived at a particular place and time associated with the investigation at hand that has been confidentially and positively verified by our researchers.

 2. The envisioned or otherwise mental reception of an event that not necessarily has a direct impact on the investigation at hand, but can be positively verified through forensic tests or through research as a factual occurrence.

Each T.R.I.P.R.G. member that has earned the distinction of being a sensitive has more than fulfilled these criteria and does so on a consistent basis.  A member's place on the sensitive team depends on that person's ability to maintain these standards.   Appointment to the Sensitive Team is on an as needed basis and the resides solely with the Director.
